SCE Technical Consultant Programmer/Analyst

Position Description:
|
The SCE Technical Consultant Programmer/Analyst will support a Statistical Computing Environment (SCE) used by SAS programmers and statisticians for Regulatory Submissions (NDAs). The SCE includes multiple and varied applications and systems that support critical client reporting and submissions activities. |
| Specific responsibilities include: |
- Perform software installations and configuration of SAS and other key applications that comprise a SCE.
- Develop SDLC and validation deliverables including IQ/OQ/PQ scripts, requirements and other compliance documentation.
- Follow client change control procedures.
- Upgrade and migration of systems.
- Meet with client groups to determine requirements, provide guidance and obtain approval for implementing changes to the production SCE.
- Interface with IT support personnel as needed to complete client requests.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for application and performance issues.
- Perform SAS programming tasks including design, development and testing of SAS macros and utilities that support the SCE.
- Report to DataCeutics Project Manager and interface with other DataCeutics team members.

| Requirements: |
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience with Windows Server software and knowledge of Windows registry.
- Experience with computer systems validation and development of validation deliverables.
- Knowledge of clinical reporting and statistical applications systems/sub-systems.
- Computer Programming experience.
- Strong SAS development skills.
- Proficiency on multiple hardware platforms and operating systems, e.g., Windows, UNIX etc. is desirable.
- Database experience (e.g. Oracle) is desirable.
- Meet independently with clients.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Motivation and skills for growth into project management is desirable.
- 4 plus years Pharmaceutical or CRO industry experience in clinical reporting and statistical applications systems/sub-systems.
